Philosophy
At Rossi, our philosophy is based on three fundamental pillars: natural ingredients, quality, and eco-responsibility. We firmly believe that nature provides the best ingredients, which is why we use no additives in our recipes.
Healthy
Our gelatos are made exclusively with natural ingredients, carefully selected for their provenance and ethics. They contain only vegetable fibers, with no additives or emulsifiers. Our sorbets are not only fruit-based but also gourmet, sugar-free, and made with organic agave. This ensures they are both delicious and healthy, highlighting the natural sweetness of the fruits without any additives.
Organic
We place particular importance on the provenance of our ingredients. We prioritise organic products and short supply chains, choosing reputable local and Italian suppliers known for their quality. Our customers can enjoy peach gelato in summer, but will have to wait for the appropriate season to find this flavour in winter.
Environment
Our commitment to the environment is also reflected in our choice of packaging then we have opted for biodegradable cardboard packaging. Although these packages are more expensive, they align with our vision for a more sustainable future. Seeing plastics invade the oceans concerns us deeply, and we are proud to contribute to reducing this pollution.
The Beggining
The Rossi family settled in Monaco nearly seven years ago, in 2017, and in a surprisingly short time, they have won the hearts of locals and visitors alike. Originally from Italy, Claudio and Sonia Rossi brought with them a rich tradition of artisanal gelato and a deep desire to share their passion. Their shop, with its distinctive Tiffany blue facade, is located near the Sainte-Dévote Church, inviting passersby into a world of sweet treats.
Claudio & Sonia
Claudio, passionate about food chemistry since the age of 16, and Sonia, an expert in customer service and administration, form a dynamic and complementary duo. Their expertise and commitment to quality are reflected in each creation. Claudio uses his skills to experiment with and perfect new recipes, while Sonia ensures every visitor receives a warm and personalised welcome.
The Rossi Family
The shop’s success is not solely due to Claudio and Sonia. Their children, Arianna and Alessandro, are also involved in the family business. They work each morning in the back shop’s laboratory to prepare fresh and delicious gelato for the day. This family collaboration adds a personal and warm touch to every gelato served, making each visit to Rossi’s boutique a unique and memorable experience.
